MELISSA KOBY
Melissa Koby is a Jamaican born illustrator based out of Tampa, Florida. Her current work is inspired by her need to process our climate. There are themes addressing social justice, but the underlying themes are always a celebration of people of color and the peace and tranquility that comes from beautiful landscapes. Melissa has worked with large brands such as Target, World Market, YSL, William Sonoma, ABC, Erin Condren, and Lavazza. Her artwork has been featured in LA Times Magazine, Forbes, and Elle magazine. She firmly believes in advocating for equity and equality and understands that, through art, she is uniquely positioned to spread awareness, in a way that is digestible, about the inequities that exist in this country. Melissa has a BA and MBA with a concentration in marketing from Nova Southeastern University.
